About the role
Join WORLDS®, the immersive cinematic show producer, as an on‑site Venue Representative in Des Moines. This part‑time position involves greeting guests, managing event setup, and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable experience at the Science Center of Iowa.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and break down signage, check‑in tables, merchandise displays, and charge devices.
- Greet and check in guests, answer questions, and maintain a seamless audience flow.
- Facilitate merchandise sales, track inventory, and report any issues.
- Monitor event operations, resolve on‑site issues quickly, and communicate with venue staff.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of customer service or event experience.
- Strong verbal communication, initiative, and ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation and consistent availability for scheduled dates.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with iPhone apps, including WhatsApp.
