About the role
Join the WORLDS team as a Venue Representative in Oakland, delivering immersive cinematic experiences at the Chabot Space & Science Museum. This part‑time, on‑site position focuses on guest interaction, event setup, and smooth operation of shows.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and break down signage, check‑in tables, and merchandise displays; ensure devices are charged.
- Greet and check in guests, answer questions, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere from entry to exit.
- Manage merchandise sales, track inventory, and report any issues.
- Monitor event flow, troubleshoot real‑time issues, and communicate updates to venue staff.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of customer service or event operations experience.
- Strong verbal communication, reliable transportation, and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with iPhone and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp for communication.
