Urologist – Clinical and Surgical Practice

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a board‑eligible or board‑certified Urologist to join its well‑established Urology service line. The position offers a blend of outpatient clinic work and operative experience in a community‑hospital environment supported by a large health network.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2‑3 days per week of outpatient urology clinic care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and follow‑up.
• Perform 1‑2 days per week of surgical cases in the hospital OR, encompassing general, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures.
• Utilize advanced technologies such as the da Vinci SP® single‑port robotic system, Mazor X Stealth™ guidance, and HYDROS Aquablation for patient treatment.
• Collaborate with a dedicated Urology Physician Assistant and a team of 13 urologists, sharing call responsibilities evenly.

Required profile

• US Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Urology.
• Current Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in robotic urologic surgery, including da Vinci SP® platform.
• Experience with Mazor X Stealth™ robotic guidance and HYDROS Aquablation system.
• Knowledge of urodynamic testing, office‑based uroflowmetry, and High‑Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) for prostate cancer.
