About the role
Dubak Electrical Group is seeking an experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendent to lead on‑site supervision, coordination and execution of large‑scale industrial electrical construction projects across the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and direct all field construction activities in line with project drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
- Lead General Foremen, Foremen, Journeyman Electricians and Apprentices, managing 5–50+ direct and indirect reports.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies and client‑specific safety standards, conducting daily safety huddles and audits.
- Coordinate installation methods between civil, mechanical and electrical trades to avoid interference and rework.
- Monitor project progress, productivity and quality, taking corrective action to keep schedule and budget on track.
- Oversee project close‑out activities, including punch lists, documentation and turnover to the client.
Required profile
- 5+ years as an Industrial Electrical Superintendent with proven ability to manage large craft labor teams.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Willingness to travel to client sites nationwide at least 75 % of the time and work overtime, nights and weekends as needed.
- High regard for personal and team safety, with ability to work at heights up to 90 ft while wearing required PPE.
Required skills
- Advanced knowledge of industrial electrical systems, conduit, cable tray, grounding and control/distribution equipment.
- Experience with transformers, motors, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), over‑current protection and parallel circuits.
- Ability to read, interpret and validate electrical drawings, specifications and NEC‑compliant installation standards.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
