Travel RN – Med/Surg – $1,825/week

About the role

American Traveler is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to work on a Med/Surg unit in an acute‑care hospital in Palestine, Texas. The position is a 13‑week travel assignment on the night shift (7 PM – 7 AM), 36 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg unit during night shifts.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in a Level IV Trauma Center.
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain accurate patient documentation.

Required profile

• Active Texas RN license or Compact RN license.
• Minimum two years of RN experience in Medical‑Surgical nursing.
• Current AHA certification (e.g., Basic Life Support).
• Reside more than 60 miles from the facility.
• Not employed full‑time elsewhere and no recent employment at a LifePoint facility.
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Medical‑Surgical nursing expertise.
