Registered Nurse – NICU (Day Shift, Full-Time)

About the role

Join UT Health Tyler’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as a full‑time, day‑shift Registered Nurse. You will provide direct, compassionate care to critically ill newborns and support their families in a state‑of‑the‑art hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to NICU patients using the nursing process.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
• Educate families on newborn care and support their emotional needs.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Commitment to providing high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced NICU setting.
