About the role

Host Healthcare is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical‑Surgical care to join a 13‑week travel assignment in Palestine, Texas. The position starts on 15 June 2026 and offers 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality patient care on a medical‑surgical unit, including assessments, medication administration, and wound care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes.

Required profile

• Current RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain licensure before start date).
• Experience in medical‑surgical nursing preferred.
• Willingness to work night shifts and travel for the duration of the assignment.
