NICU Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a passionate NICU Nurse to join our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This full‑time, permanent position provides critical care to premature and medically fragile newborns while supporting families during a pivotal time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to premature and medically fragile newborns in a Level II NICU/Special Care Nursery.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform specialized interventions as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff—to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate and support families throughout the hospitalization process.

Required profile

• Current RN license with eligibility to practice in Texas.
• Experience in neonatal or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Commitment to compassionate, family‑centered care.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Neonatal monitoring and assessment.
• Administration of IV medications and nutrition.
• Ventilator and CPAP management.
• Electronic health record documentation.
