Traffic Control Associate – Fremont

About the role

City Rise Utility provides high‑quality traffic control safety services for utility contractors across California. The Traffic Control Associate works on work‑zone set‑up, flagging, and ensuring the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and crew members.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent focus on safety and follow state, federal and company guidelines for work zones.
• Assist with set‑up and tear‑down of day‑to‑day work zones, including driving company trucks and organizing equipment.
• Provide clear directions to the public, deliver on‑time arrivals, and ensure well‑managed work zones.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean record.
• Current IBEW membership (trainee classification) and ATSSA Flagger Certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification and reliable transportation for Northern California.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lb.
