Trade Policy Manager

About the role

CCIA is seeking a motivated policy professional to support its advocacy on technology policy issues, focusing on trade and access to foreign markets. The role will work closely with CCIA’s digital trade teams and member companies.

Key responsibilities

• Support DC policy teams in advancing public policy goals for digital services and technology industries.
• Monitor overseas trade‑related policies and regulations that could affect the technology sector and inform members.
• Engage with U.S. and foreign government stakeholders to shape responses to digital trade barriers.
• Research digital trade issues, draft policy recommendations, regulatory comments, and advocacy papers.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in public policy, government, or regulatory affairs.
• Experience with international trade policy development, implementation, or enforcement.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of technology and trade policy, including familiarity with agencies such as the USTR, Commerce, Treasury, and State Departments.
