Test Technician (Temporary)

About the role

Dematic is seeking a Test Technician to join its Mobile Automation team on a temporary basis. You will work hands‑on with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and related electronics to ensure performance, reliability, and quality of cutting‑edge logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Test electronic assemblies before integration into higher‑level systems.
• Repair returned parts to restore functionality.
• Power up AGVs and prepare them for testing.
• Run vehicles in simulated customer environments to verify requirements.
• Support engineering with test‑track configuration and issue resolution.
• Maintain multiple projects to meet AGV shipment dates.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical certification is a plus.
• 1‑3 years of experience in electronics testing.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Windows OS, IP and networking concepts.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Detail‑oriented, logical problem‑solver who can meet strict deadlines.
