Terminal Manager – Gallup, NM

About the role

CTI’s Transportation Management team is seeking an experienced Terminal Manager to oversee transportation, transload, and maintenance operations at the Gallup Terminal in New Mexico. The role ensures compliance with safety, MSHA, and FMCSA regulations while managing a large staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise 40‑60 employees including commercial drivers, loaders, and maintenance staff.
• Coordinate with customers and safety teams, manage dispatch communications, and maintain strong customer relations.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Director on hiring, budgeting, training, and safety initiatives.
• Oversee payroll, PTO approvals, and generate regular operational reports.
• Manage drug and alcohol testing processes and respond to safety incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum 23 years of age with a valid driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred.
• At least 2 years of transportation‑related experience and 2 years of management or logistics experience, preferably with MSHA knowledge.
• Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years) and ability to pass a controlled substance test.
• Authorized access to mine sites and ability to wear a respirator (must be clean‑shaven).
• Willingness to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and virtual meeting tools.
• Experience using Transman and Truckmate platforms and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and MSHA regulations.
