About the role
The Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Vermont College of Medicine seeks an Assistant, Associate, or Professor on a tenure-track pathway. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, basic scientists, and educators to advance research and teaching in anatomical sciences.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Gross Anatomy and Neuroscience.
- Develop and lead an independent research program focused on neuroimmunology, neuroinflammation, or neurodegeneration.
- Collaborate with faculty across clinical and basic science disciplines.
- Contribute to departmental service, mentorship, and outreach aligned with university values.
Required profile
- Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree.
- Demonstrated record of research excellence in relevant neuro‑biological fields.
- Commitment to high‑quality teaching of anatomical sciences.
