Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Neurological Sciences

About the role

The Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Vermont College of Medicine seeks an Assistant, Associate, or Professor on a tenure-track pathway. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, basic scientists, and educators to advance research and teaching in anatomical sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Gross Anatomy and Neuroscience.
• Develop and lead an independent research program focused on neuroimmunology, neuroinflammation, or neurodegeneration.
• Collaborate with faculty across clinical and basic science disciplines.
• Contribute to departmental service, mentorship, and outreach aligned with university values.

Required profile

• Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree.
• Demonstrated record of research excellence in relevant neuro‑biological fields.
