About the role
Kennesaw State University is seeking qualified candidates for a pool of open‑rank, part‑time and limited‑term faculty positions in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis for the 2025‑26 academic year. Appointments are made on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in economics, finance, or quantitative analysis.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
- Mentor and advise students, including participation in research‑oriented programs such as the Student Managed Investment Fund and the Bagwell Center.
- Contribute to departmental research activities and collaborative projects.
Required profile
- Appropriate academic qualifications (e.g., Ph.D. or terminal degree) in economics, finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Demonstrated ability to teach at the university level.
