Tech/Operator II – V-22 Avionics Training Solutions

About the role

Insight Global is looking for a Tech/Operator II to serve as a subject‑matter expert for the development and delivery of training solutions for V‑22 avionics platforms. You will work closely with engineering, production, and manufacturing teams to create and support desktop software, VR/AR simulators, and training devices used by military technicians and operators.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and deliver desktop software, virtual/augmented reality simulators, and training devices.
• Provide technical guidance to production and manufacturing technicians throughout development and implementation phases.
• Participate in training conferences, In‑Process Reviews, and other required meetings.
• Travel for data capture, device testing, and delivery as needed.
• Develop testing documentation, user manuals, and operator guides.
• Troubleshoot systems and components, evaluate COTS replacements, and assess functional fidelity.
• Lead SME teams for Contractor Preliminary Inspections and oversee training device deliveries, handling, and transportation.
• Perform Contractor Final Inspections and ensure compliance with ITAR, CUI, and NISPOM regulations.

Required profile

• Ability to safely handle government‑furnished equipment and materials.
• Willingness to travel and work a standard weekly schedule with overtime as required.
• Knowledge of ITAR, CUI, and related security classifications.

Required skills

• Hardware and Software Integration (HSI).
• Evaluation and integration of Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf (COTS) components.
• Development of VR/AR simulation and desktop training software.
• Creation of testing documentation and training curriculum.
