Technical Writer, Manufacturing

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Technical Writer to produce clear, concise documentation for its autonomous surface vessels. You will translate complex engineering concepts into user‑friendly guides that enable operators to safely and efficiently run the vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to gather technical information.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and internal guides.
• Translate technical specifications into documentation that is easy for end‑users to understand.
• Ensure all documents comply with industry standards, DoD regulations, and internal best practices.
• Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
• Work with the production team to stay aligned with project timelines and milestones.
• Continuously update documentation based on user feedback and evolving technology.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technology‑driven or defense environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
