Technical Support Senior Engineer – Pipeline Simulation

About the role

Provide local and regional technical support for AVEVA's Pipeline Simulation products, acting as the primary point of contact for complex software issues. You will troubleshoot, reproduce, and propose workarounds while collaborating with development teams to deliver solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound technical support cases and handle advanced issues.
• Diagnose, analyze, and replicate customer problems.
• Research workarounds, document findings, and track issues in case management tools.
• Maintain product knowledge and create technical documentation such as Tech Notes and White Papers.
• Deliver customer training, teach intermediate and custom courses, and mentor junior engineers.
• Travel to customer sites, conferences, and training events as needed.

Required profile

• BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Petroleum Engineering (or higher).
• 5‑10 years of experience in pipeline simulation and software support within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong grasp of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and hydraulic behavior.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages a plus.
