Senior Product Manager, POS

About the role

HungerRush is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of its flagship cloud POS platform. In this role you will own the strategy, discovery and execution of the core POS product, ensuring it remains reliable for thousands of live restaurants while modernising its technical foundation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate an empowered cross‑functional team of engineering and design, iterating based on live usage data to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Conduct continuous discovery with restaurant operators through interviews and in‑store observation to validate that the team builds the right solutions.
• Balance speed and quality, making bold decisions while maintaining execution excellence.
• Define and maintain a strategic roadmap that blends platform modernisation, commercial trade‑offs and value delivery for operators and guests.
• Partner with engineering to decide what to modernise, deprecate or restructure, prioritising business impact and future AI/reporting needs.
• Develop deep fluency in restaurant workflows to ground feature decisions in real operational contexts.
• Perform market research and competitive analysis, using customer insights and data to inform product sequencing.
• Leverage AI tools for research synthesis, data analysis, specification writing and prototyping, and identify opportunities for AI‑powered capabilities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level product manager with a proven track record of owning end‑to‑end product strategy for a complex software platform.
• Experience working closely with engineering and design teams in an empowered, outcome‑focused product operating model.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and POS usage, gained through direct customer interaction and observation.
• Data‑driven decision maker comfortable balancing speed, quality and commercial considerations.
