Technical Sourcer

About the role

Range is building an AI‑powered wealth‑management platform and needs a Technical Sourcer to drive top‑of‑funnel hiring for engineering, product, data and other technical teams. This role is ideal for an early‑career recruiter with hands‑on sourcing experience who wants to shape talent acquisition at a fast‑growing fintech startup.

Key responsibilities

• Own top‑of‑funnel sourcing for technical roles, building strong pipelines of engineers, data professionals and other technical talent.
• Proactively source candidates using standard and creative channels, and review inbound applications for alignment with role requirements and Range values.
• Craft personalized outreach messages and partner with recruiters to schedule initial screens and ensure seamless handoff.
• Track and manage sourcing activity, outreach performance, and pipeline health in the ATS.
• Experiment with new sourcing strategies, tools and messaging to continuously improve response rates and candidate quality.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience sourcing technical talent (engineering, data, product or similar roles).
• Experience sourcing at a large tech company or agency with a strong understanding of technical roles and skill sets.
• Creative, resourceful approach to sourcing beyond standard searches and outreach templates.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple roles and pipelines simultaneously.

Required skills

• Comfort using sourcing tools and ATS platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter or similar).
• Ability to craft compelling, personalized messaging to engage technical candidates.
