Team Member - Part-Time Convenience Store

About the role

Circle K is hiring a part-time Team Member for its Store 2743108 in Frankstown, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The position is flexible, covering days, evenings, overnight shifts and weekends, and pays between $14.00 and $14.50.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly customer service: greet customers, give assistance and suggestions, and ring up sales accurately on the cash register.
• Operate fuel consoles, lottery machines, money order machines and telecom transactions.
• Keep the store clean and safe, inspect equipment and report failures or maintenance needs to the Store Manager.
• Complete build-to orders, receive and verify deliveries, keep stock turned and rotate merchandise, and post advertising and pricing signage.
• Control cash, sales and inventory, keep accurate records, and report discrepancies or incidents such as theft or injury to the Store Manager.
• Keep shift and timekeeping paperwork accurate, attend job-related meetings, and perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to arrive on time and work as scheduled, with regular and predictable onsite attendance.
• Ability to perform the physical demands, including lifting up to 30 pounds overhead and 50 pounds to waist, bending, kneeling and standing for a full shift, and occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

Required skills

• Ability to operate cash registers, scanners, hot or cold beverage dispensers and other machines.
• Basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
