Team Lead – IT Support

About the role

Atlas Technica is seeking a Team Lead to manage a growing support department serving hedge funds and investment firms. This technical and supervisory role involves leading Junior Systems Engineers and Interns while providing career development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Junior Systems Engineers and Interns, acting as escalation point for technical and non‑technical issues.
• Approve PTO and time‑entry, conduct performance reviews and provide coaching, mentoring and training.
• Own technical projects, provide oversight, guidance and recommend solutions to clients.
• Manage relationships with a subset of clients and assist with client escalations.
• Participate in on‑call escalation rotations and attend client meetings.
• Contribute to organizational initiatives to improve processes, functions and technology.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of people‑management experience and 5 years of IT experience (Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, Systems Administration).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in an MSP environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Azure AD, Teams).
• Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Citrix XenApp.
• Sophos or similar endpoint threat management.
• Virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, LAN/DMZ/WAN, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls.
