Tax JD Internship – Summer 2027 (Atlanta)

About the role

This summer internship offers law students a hands‑on experience within PwC's Tax practice in Atlanta. You will work alongside tax professionals, gaining exposure to corporate tax planning, compliance, and post‑deal integration while developing a solid foundation in tax law.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
• Participate in corporate tax planning and compliance activities to optimize tax positions.
• Engage in tax modeling and consulting to address client‑specific tax challenges.
• Contribute to post‑deal integration and tax‑finance integration projects.
• Collaborate on purchase and sale agreements to facilitate seamless transactions.
• Conduct research on tax regulations and industry‑specific tax issues.
• Apply intellectual curiosity to explore innovative tax solutions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a Juris Doctorate degree.
• Commitment to sit for and pass the Bar exam before full‑time employment.
• Typically in the second year of a three‑year JD program at the time of application.
• Preference for an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher.
