Senior FOIA & Privacy Act Analyst – FOIA Administration Support

About the role

ProSidian Consulting is seeking a Senior FOIA & Privacy Act Analyst to provide FOIA administration support for the U.S. Department of the Army’s Office of the Staff Judge Advocate at Joint Task Force Guantanamo Bay. The role is full‑time, onsite in the OCONUS Caribbean region, and focuses on ensuring compliance with FOIA and Privacy Act statutes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead intake, research, and response operations for FOIA requests, applying appropriate exemptions and redactions.
• Manage electronic FOIA processing systems, document control workflows, and inter‑agency referrals.
• Conduct quality‑assurance reviews of redactions and coordinate responses across directorates.
• Maintain accurate case tracking, update status daily, and ensure timely completion of requests.

Required profile

• Prior experience in DOD/Military sector FOIA or Privacy Act processing.
• Demonstrated ability to review FOIA requests, conduct document searches, and apply statutory exemptions.
• Experience providing FOIA‑specific training and technical support to staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Redact Express or similar redaction tools.
• Experience using FOIA request management and tracking systems.
• Strong knowledge of FOIA statutes, Privacy Act, and relevant exemption guidelines.
