Tanger Ambassador – Kansas City

About the role

In our continued mission to create shopping destinations that entertain, inspire, and bring communities together, Tanger is seeking a Tanger Ambassador for Kansas City. The role blends independent work with collaborative, team‑driven initiatives and involves representing the brand both on‑site and at community events.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a polished, professional appearance that reflects the Tanger brand.
• Engage shoppers across the center, answer questions, distribute samples, coupons and promotional materials.
• Educate customers on TangerClub benefits and assist with sign‑ups using the Tanger Mobile App.
• Represent Tanger at on‑site and off‑site marketing events, conferences, trade shows and local promotions.
• Support event set‑up, breakdown, and capture promotional moments through photos or video.
• Provide administrative support such as mail handling, shipment receipt, and updating signage, logs and social media channels.
• Collect and record customer feedback and relay operational issues to center management.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1‑2 years of customer‑service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Professional demeanor, patience and the ability to build relationships with shoppers, retailers and vendors.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and outdoor events as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) and mobile applications.
• Experience using the TangerMobile App to manage loyalty programs and promotions.
