Director of Communications (Hybrid, Multiple Offices)

About the role

The Director of Communications partners with the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer to shape and execute the firm’s internal and external communications strategy, enhancing reputation, brand visibility, and stakeholder engagement across multiple offices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Strengthen and protect the firm’s reputation across markets and stakeholder groups.
• Advise senior leaders on communication opportunities and reputational risks.
• Establish key messaging and positioning for the firm, practice groups, and strategic initiatives.
• Measure communication effectiveness and provide regular reporting.
• Partner with the firm’s PR agency to elevate media presence and develop relationships with key reporters.
• Oversee speaking engagements, award submissions, rankings and industry recognition.
• Lead internal communications to boost employee engagement, manage change‑management messaging, and ensure consistent messaging across offices.
• Supervise social media managers, drive the firm’s social media strategy, and monitor industry trends for digital innovation.
