Systems Installer - Mechanic (2nd Shift)

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Mechanic Systems Installer on a contract basis to join the Mobile Manufacturing Team for the final assembly line. The role works the 2nd shift and focuses on installing and testing aircraft systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical components at the workstation or aircraft parking area.
• Mark, assemble, torque, and secure mechanical parts according to drawings and specifications.
• Inspect bonding and verify system functions.
• Perform installations in specific areas such as VTP/HTP, hydraulic lines, belly fairing, flap, air‑conditioning, fuel system, MLG & tank test, and gauging test.
• Execute additional tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in aviation production or equivalent.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of training/experience.
• Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.

Required skills

• VTP and HTP installation.
• Hydraulic lines installation.
• Belly fairing and flap installation.
• Air‑conditioning and fuel system installation.
• MLG & tank testing.
• Gauging test procedures.
