Systems Architecture, Integration & Test Engineer (Electrical/Software)

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Architecture, Integration and Test Engineer to lead electrical and software integration for our autonomous maritime vessels. The role will design system architecture, conduct hardware‑in‑the‑loop and software‑in‑the‑loop verification, and ensure reliability across diverse mission and environmental conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical and software system integration, ensuring signal integrity, power management, communication protocols and autonomous behavior meet design intent.
• Define and maintain system‑level interface requirements using Jama and internal tools.
• Develop and execute integration and validation test plans for electrical subsystems, SIL and HITL testing.
• Perform electrical reliability tests such as EMI/EMC, power cycling and thermal stress to validate robustness.
• Support root‑cause investigations for electrical and software failures and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead technical reviews of system interfaces, integration results and verification data.
• Mentor engineers on best practices for reliability, fault‑tolerant design and redundancy.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading cross‑functional integration efforts for complex electromechanical systems.
• Strong ability to define clear requirements and translate them into test plans.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Excellent communication skills for technical reviews and mentorship.
