About the role

Infosys Financial Services is seeking a Sybase / DB2 Database Administrator to join its technology consulting team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role supports database platforms for financial institution clients, contributing to AI‑driven digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions, capture software specifications, and create process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications according to detailed design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, report defects, and support software performance enhancements.
• Assist with integration of new software features and ensure smooth transitions within existing infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, providing prompt issue resolution and comprehensive maintenance documentation.
