Survey Project Manager

About the role

Cardinal Civil Resources seeks a Survey Project Manager with high integrity and strong attention to detail to lead land‑survey projects from planning through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare work plans, assemble project teams, delegate tasks, and ensure projects stay within scope and schedule.
• Oversee field work scheduling, verify survey data accuracy, and manage the financial performance of assigned projects.
• Develop client relationships, support business development, and assist with contract preparation.
• Coordinate with vendors, manage fleet vehicles, and provide technical direction to field crews.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, conduct safety meetings, and maintain digital project files.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; additional college coursework, apprenticeship, or advanced degree preferred.
• 3‑5 years of project management and land surveying experience, including at least two years of field management.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable record and ability to pass background check and drug testing.

Required skills

• Experience with CADD drawing and survey computation.
• Proficiency in Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD.
• Knowledge of CSIT, field crew management, and utility research.
