Supply Chain Manager – Category Management in Oil & Gas

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead category procurement for labor and rotating equipment services within the oil and gas sector. This contract role (approximately four months) will ensure reliable supply, manage commercial agreements, and drive cost‑effective sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle for assigned categories, including pricing agreements, rate structures, and service contracts.
• Draft, review, and administer contracts, amendments, change orders, and service agreements.
• Coordinate competitive sourcing events such as RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Serve as liaison between operations, engineering, supply chain, and suppliers; conduct performance reviews and monitor compliance.
• Analyze market conditions, pricing trends, and cost drivers; provide commercial recommendations and support financial reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements using procurement systems and data‑driven tools, including AI‑enabled solutions where appropriate.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing contracts, procurement activities, or supply chain functions.
• Strong understanding of contract terms, commercial agreements, and sourcing processes.
• Ability to analyze data, evaluate supplier performance, and make informed commercial recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
