About the role
We are looking for a Senior Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to shape and execute our regional logistics strategy across road, rail, and waterways. The role focuses on cost optimisation, network performance, and building strategic carrier partnerships while maintaining safety and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a regional logistics strategy aligned with business goals.
- Manage transport networks (road, rail, water) and monitor carrier performance.
- Lead sourcing strategy for inbound and outbound logistics.
- Optimise costs, rates, routes, backhaul and zone allocations.
- Oversee logistics P&L, KPIs and benchmark performance.
- Drive adoption of digital logistics tools and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis for incidents and ensure safety compliance.
- Mentor and lead logistics teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field (or 10+ years experience without a degree).
- 5+ years of experience in logistics strategy, sourcing and network optimisation.
- Proven leadership experience with strong stakeholder management.
Required skills
- Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
