Forklift Operator

About the role

As a Forklift Operator you will work in our Denver warehouse supporting the production and distribution of pet food products. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, picking cases, and moving finished product from the packing area to storage locations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate sit‑down or stand‑up forklift safely and efficiently to load and unload accurate quantities of product.
• Use RF scan guns and slip‑sheet procedures to verify that items have passed quality checks before shipping.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing product for damage and report any defects.
• Move finished product from the packing room to designated bins following FIFO inventory rotation.
• Perform daily forklift maintenance checks and submit written reports to the shift supervisor.
• Build case‑pick pallets and mixed‑product loads as needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of sit‑down or stand‑up forklift experience in a high‑volume distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or military environment.

Required skills

• Proficient forklift operation (sit‑down or stand‑up).
• Experience with RF scan guns and slip‑sheet handling.
• Knowledge of FIFO inventory management.
• Ability to perform routine forklift maintenance and report repairs.
