Supplier Quality Intern – Summer 2027

About the role

Join HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, as a Supplier Quality Intern for the summer of 2027. You will support the Supplier Quality Engineering team, gaining hands‑on experience in data analysis, continuous improvement, and quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Create value‑stream maps and develop lean projects to improve processes.
• Clean, merge, and analyze data from multiple sources; build databases for historical and future data.
• Apply Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical tools to solve problems and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist with day‑to‑day activities such as inspections, sorting, problem investigations, PPAP approvals, and non‑conforming material reports.
• Develop and maintain metrics tracking systems, control plans, FMEAs, work instructions, and process flows.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
• Completed at least 24 credit hours at university level.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, Power BI, and Minitab.
• Experience with database creation, SPC, statistical analysis, and lean tools.
• Basic 3D modeling knowledge and understanding of GD&T.
• Familiarity with problem‑solving techniques and FMEAs.
