CNC Machinist

About the role

HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, is seeking a CNC Machinist to produce machined components according to the production schedule. You will work with designers, programmers and production personnel to ensure high‑quality parts meet specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Produce components, set up CNC horizontal/vertical machines, and maintain fixtures, tools and accessories.
• Monitor machining parameters (speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut) and report anomalies to the supervisor.
• Verify finished workpieces against specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and train or cross‑train new employees.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles; overtime may be required.

Required profile

• High school, trade or technical school graduate with at least 3 years of CNC setup experience.
• Ability to read and interpret programs, prints and coordination sheets.
• Capability to move up to 50 lb regularly in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• CNC programming knowledge, including G‑code and M‑code functions.
• Experience with precision measuring tools such as verniers, thread gauges, bore gauges, micrometers and calipers.
• Fixture setup, verification (prove‑out) of first piece and production run management.
• Ability to adjust cutting speed and feed rates for various tooling and materials.
