About the role
The Supervisor, New Construction will lead the pre‑construction and development process for new McDonald’s restaurants in the Denver metro area. This position ensures projects move from concept to construction close‑out while meeting schedule, budget, and brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the pre‑construction phase, including entitlements, design coordination, permitting, and budgeting.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to prepare construction documents and obtain approvals.
- Lead the contractor bidding process and award contracts to qualified general contractors.
- Partner with franchisees and cross‑functional teams such as real estate, design, equipment, and operations.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and development milestones.
- Provide construction oversight and milestone tracking while collaborating with external construction managers.
- Conduct periodic site visits to verify compliance with plans, quality, and safety standards.
- Track project financials and deliver regular status updates to leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management or related roles.
