Architectural Project Associate

About the role

We are a nationwide commercial architectural firm seeking a motivated Architectural Project Associate with experience in retail design and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. You will support project managers throughout the design and construction phases, ensuring high‑quality deliverables for our national clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and preparing construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review.
• Produce full sets of construction documents, handle permitting, RFIs, and site‑visit verification.
• Coordinate revisions and collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and client vendors.
• Conduct code and permitting research, attend site surveys, and prepare survey drawings and reports.
• Respond to comments from external drawing reviews and prepare design‑development presentation drawings.

Required profile

• Professional commercial experience, specifically in retail design.
• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus.
• Basic experience with rendering software.
• Strong oral and written communication and customer‑service skills.
• Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines while following direction.
