Supervisor, Business Solutions

About the role

Horizon Media, a marketing and advertising firm founded in 1989 and headquartered in New York City, is looking for a Supervisor, Business Solutions. The role combines strategic media planning, team supervision and client relationship management, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic planning (40%): guide the team in turning client goals into strategic media solutions, lead research initiatives for consumer insights, help senior leadership build media briefs and present to clients, and own channel wrap-up reports
• Supervision and management (35%): oversee junior team members' work with other departments, set project timelines, coach and train team members, set career goals and take part in interviews
• Relationship management (15%): act as a Horizon contact for core clients and partners and pass strategic direction down to the team
• Account management (10%): anticipate client requests, troubleshoot with internal teams, lead calls and statuses and become the lead POC, and coordinate with investment teams to deliver campaigns

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and managing media account projects
• Experience using multiple media channels and familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts
• Prior client-facing and leadership experience, and strong mentorship experience developing media professionals
• Strong writing, presentation and communication skills, with good time management and attention to detail
• Advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion
