Summer 2027 Internship - Upstream Marketing & Marketing Communication

About the role

Stryker is offering a Summer 2027 internship in Upstream Marketing and Marketing Communication, based onsite in Michigan. Interns contribute to real projects, gain exposure to mentors and join an innovative, teamwork-driven culture. The internship targets students majoring in Marketing, Business, Business Administration/Management or Communications.

Key responsibilities

• Upstream Marketing: support product development and strategic marketing initiatives, collaborating with R&D, Marketing and customer insights teams using the Big Picture Marketing framework.
• Marketing Communications: partner with internal teams and external vendors to create customer-facing materials, help execute the communication strategy (digital, advertising, sales communications), and assist with product launches, trade shows and sales meetings.
• Document complex processes and present them clearly.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, remaining enrolled after the internship.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and does not need sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

What we offer

• $20 minimum to $35 maximum hourly wage.
