Summer 2027 Internship - Downstream Marketing

About the role

Stryker is offering a Summer 2027 marketing internship in Michigan, with hybrid or onsite work flexibility. The internship is open to students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Business Administration/Management or Communications, and focuses on downstream marketing: supporting commercialization activities such as campaign development, messaging and positioning, gathering customer insights and working alongside sales members and surgeons.

Key responsibilities

• Apply classroom knowledge in a fast-paced, growing industry setting and implement new ideas.
• Network with high-level stakeholders and leaders of the business.
• Document complex processes and present them clearly.
• In the Downstream Marketing team, help gather customer insights to validate campaigns and commercial models using Stryker's Big Picture Marketing framework.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, remaining enrolled after the internship.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (preferred).
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and does not need sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Preferred: experience balancing demanding commitments such as athletics, employment or leadership roles while keeping up academics.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment

What we offer

• $20 minimum to $35 maximum hourly wage
