Summer 2027 Market Development Intern - Michigan

About the role

Stryker is offering a Summer 2027 Market Development internship in Michigan, with onsite work. The intern contributes to real market development projects, gains exposure to mentors and learns to analyze market trends, customer needs and commercial opportunities in the medical device industry.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitive research on medical device service offerings
• Analyze customer, installed-base and service data to identify growth opportunities
• Support market assessments, business cases and go-to-market recommendations
• Research customer needs, industry trends and emerging service models
• Assist with projects on service contracts, preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades and other lifecycle solutions
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Service Operations and Product teams
• Prepare presentations, reports and insights for business stakeholders

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing or a related field, staying enrolled after the internship
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, verified at hire
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S., no sponsorship needed
• Interest in healthcare, medical devices and/or service-based business models

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Data analysis experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
• Organizational skills and comfort in a cross-functional environment
