Summer 2027 Data Science Internship (Remote)

About the role

Stryker is offering a remote Summer 2027 Data Science internship for students currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree. The intern helps drive proactive and predictive insights that inform strategic decisions across the Commercial Excellence organization within the Trauma & Extremities division, working with cross-functional teams to identify trends, forecast business outcomes and support initiatives across Inventory, PLCM and Customer Service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, analyze and model operational, economic, management, accounting and other organizational data.
• Recommend solutions to new and complex problems, develop innovative strategies and quantify the competitive performance of operations and markets.
• Evaluate the potential impact of changes and report on economic forecasts affecting the industry.
• Use Python, SQL and data visualization platforms to explore data and build scalable, data-driven solutions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, remaining enrolled after the internship.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, verified at time of hire.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and does not need sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Target majors include Business Analytics, Data Science, IT, MIS, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Supply Chain Management/Logistics and Finance.

What we offer

• Pay of $20 minimum to $35 maximum per hour.
• Sign-on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually.
• Paid corporate housing or a living stipend depending on hiring location.
