About the role
Ensemble Music Schools seeks a fun, experienced, and professional substitute music teacher to teach piano, voice, or guitar at Bucktown Music in Chicago. The position is on‑site and part‑time, providing flexible hours for qualified educators.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in‑person substitute instruction for piano, voice, or guitar classes.
- Maintain punctuality, reliable transportation, and a professional classroom environment.
Required profile
- Degree in piano, music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
Required skills
- Piano proficiency.
- Voice (vocal) proficiency.
- Guitar proficiency.

- Hourly pay ranging from $28 to $32, commensurate with experience.
