About the role

Horizon Media (Horizon Next) is a data-driven marketing organization offering brand strategy, media planning and investment, and analytics across channels. It is looking for a Strategist, Business Solutions in New York to support Senior Strategists and Supervisors on client deliverables, covering strategic planning, account management and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Support Senior Strategists and Supervisors on client deliverables using knowledge of the media planning process
• Analyze large datasets including TV attribution models, report on traditional channels and create reports with insights
• Create, format and update flowcharts and collaborate on points of view for new media opportunities
• Use consumer research and competitive intelligence tools (MRI, Cadence, AdIntel)
• Prepare and distribute traffic instructions, track deadlines with the Traffic team, and handle billing and budget maintenance
• Maintain team documents, set up presentation deck templates and present to clients
• Work with other departments (Investment, Traffic, Operations) and help train Assistant Strategists and onboard new Strategists

Required profile

• Strong writer, presenter and communicator, independent and organized
• Problem solver, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion
• Preferred: 1+ years of media planning experience

Required skills

• Basic understanding of advanced analytics and performance media, and of media math and advertising terminology
• Excel and PowerPoint
• Media management system, billing system and competitive/targeting tools

• Salary range of $64,350 - $80,000, with a discretionary bonus
