Strategic Business Management V – Customer & Region Lead

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Business Management V professional to provide strategic direction and own relationships for multiple customers and regions. The role serves as the primary interface between sales and the business unit, shaping customer meetings and driving market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute division strategy for assigned accounts/regions to achieve market‑share targets.
• Translate customer roadmaps and high‑value priorities into product development and pricing strategies.
• Lead RFQ closure, hardware and process specifications, and coordinate demos, visits, and source inspections.
• Partner with sales to close orders, manage pricing structures, and introduce product enhancements to increase margin.
• Achieve financial targets including gross margin, OpEx, and forecast commitments.

Required profile

• Recognized technical expert in a specific discipline with broad functional knowledge.
• Ability to anticipate business and regulatory issues and recommend improvements.
• Proven leadership of high‑risk, complex projects and development of execution strategies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to devise innovative solutions with wide business impact.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and present complex ideas.

What we offer

• Target Total Cash salary range $163,000 – $224,000 per year.
