Store Assistant (Bonused)

About the role

Circle K is hiring a full-time Store Assistant for its station in Delmont, Pennsylvania, with flexible availability across days, evenings, overnight shifts and weekends. The role covers customer service, merchandising, sales and financial controls, and shift supervision, and is paid with a bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service, greet customers, handle cash and payments accurately, and resolve routine customer concerns
• Operate the fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine and telecom transactions
• Keep the store clean and tidy, including sweeping, dusting, cleaning equipment and checking refrigeration units
• Stock, rotate and display products, prepare inventory orders, make price changes and post signage
• Enter sales correctly, keep accurate cash, sales, payroll and inventory records, complete daily banking and close-out, and process weekly time and attendance and payroll
• Supervise staff, schedule employees, train customer service representatives and give performance feedback
• Help maintain a safe environment, report incidents and discrepancies, and assist the Store Manager with reports and audits

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year of retail and management experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Open availability and ability to work opposite shifts of the Store Manager
• Able to work in cold environments, occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, and work alone with minimal supervision

• Accurate use of cash registers, scanners and other equipment
