Store Assistant (Bonused) - Full Time

About the role

Circle K is hiring a full-time Store Assistant for its station in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. The position covers customer service, merchandising, sales and financial controls, and shift staffing. Shift availability is flexible (days, evenings, overnights and weekends).

Key responsibilities

• Customer service: greet customers, give helpful suggestions, resolve issues and coach staff in courteous service.
• Ring up sales accurately, handle cash, checks and other payments, and operate the fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine and telecom transactions.
• Maintain the store: sweep and mop floors, dust and wash counters and displays, clean equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Stock products, rotate and display them, prepare inventory orders, make price changes and post signage.
• Enter transactions at the correct price, keep accurate cash, sales, payroll and inventory records, complete daily banking and shift reports, and process weekly time and attendance and payroll.
• Supervise staff, schedule employees, train Customer Service Representatives and lead CSRs, and counsel employees.
• Help keep the store safe, report incidents, and assist the Store Manager with reports, inventory audits and merchandise control.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year of retail and management experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Open availability and ability to work opposite shifts of the Store Manager.
• Able to work in cold environments, occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, and to work alone with minimal supervision.

• Accurate use of cash registers, scanners and other equipment.
