Statistics & Analysis Internship

About the role

The Statistics & Analysis (S&A) team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is looking for innovative interns to support data management and regulatory reporting initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the Statistics Function’s mission and strategic focus areas such as automation and data management.
• Conduct quality assurance on regulatory filings to ensure data is fit for purpose for stakeholders.
• Provide outreach and guidance to financial institutions on Federal Reserve reporting requirements.
• Identify business process improvements and design analytical solutions leveraging AI/ML technologies.
• Participate in leadership and career development activities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• At least one semester remaining to complete the program.
• Strong computer/technical skills and ability to work in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SQL (or willingness to learn).
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts is a plus.
