Stand-Up Forklift Operator - Manufacturing

About the role

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is hiring a Stand-Up Forklift Operator for its day-shift manufacturing operations in Anderson, SC. The operator safely runs powered industrial equipment while supporting warehouse and manufacturing work such as picking, packing, repackaging, unloading and inventory tasks, helping keep product accuracy, safety, quality and customer satisfaction high.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned picking, packing, repackaging and unloading tasks.
• Operate the stand-up forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and order fulfillment accuracy.
• Follow company safety, security and quality policies; use basic math and weight scales; wear required PPE.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers and management, follow production schedules and work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Licensed or certified Lift Truck Operator (previous forklift operation required).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 to 6 months of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Internal applicants must have no active final written warnings, no more than six attendance points, meet efficiency and quality standards for the last three months, and have been in the current position at least six months.

Required skills

• Addition and multiplication, reading written English instructions and working from pick lists, work orders and operating instructions.
• Picking up to 200 line items with strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds alone and team-lift heavier items, and work in varying temperatures.
