Staff Product Manager, UX & IAM

About the role

Fastly is looking for a Staff Product Manager to define the next generation of user and developer experiences, empowering developers and platform teams with capabilities to manage their applications on Fastly's Edge Platform. The role drives customer solution requirements and adoption, synthesizes product roadmaps and delivers developer tooling, UX and identity and access management. It is open to preferred office locations in San Francisco, New York or Denver, with a largely hybrid model.

Key responsibilities

• Define the roadmap for UX and developer experiences for the Fastly Control Panel, CLI and developer tooling
• Define the roadmap for IAM, AI agent access and API token lifecycle, applying the principle of least privilege
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver access tooling to customers
• Define and monitor success metrics using data-driven goals
• Translate use cases across industries into clear product requirements
• Foster relationships with Engineering, Design, Marketing and Revenue teams
• Work with security engineering, infrastructure, customer support and sales engineering for seamless multi-tenant developer workflows

Required profile

• 8+ years in product management or technical product leadership, ideally on security, IAM, infrastructure or developer-facing products
• Clear communicator able to present complex technical concepts to executives and customers
• Enthusiastic focus on the underlying reasons behind market problems

Preferred experience

• Building cloud services and applications in an enterprise environment
• Driving adoption through product analytics
• Deep understanding of user and developer experience
