Staff GTM Analyst – Remote (USA Only)

About the role

Close is looking for its first Staff GTM Analyst to partner with Go‑to‑Market leadership. You will turn ambiguous business questions into data‑driven decisions, building trustworthy GTM metrics and enabling self‑service analytics across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and model GTM metrics, reconciling data across Snowflake, Segment, Amplitude, GA4 and ad platforms.
• Investigate performance shifts (e.g., trial increases vs. paid conversion) and explain root causes.
• Forecast outcomes of investments, model trade‑offs and guide leadership on strategic choices.
• Own the end‑to‑end analytical process, from data extraction to actionable recommendations.
• Develop semantic layers, context and guardrails to make self‑service analytics reliable.

Required profile

• ~8 years of hands‑on, highly technical analytics experience with a track record of solving complex problems.
• Ability to translate business questions into data models, work directly in Snowflake, and collaborate with engineering.
• Deep familiarity with GTM data nuances such as attribution, UTM tracking, and broken tracking.
• Comfort with AI‑augmented analytics and building frameworks for trustworthy self‑service.
• Strong cross‑functional influence, independent ownership and a focus on impact over output.
